Curriculum Resources
Chairs: Sam Donovan and John Moore
- Identify, revise, and modify existing educational resources that address Vision and Change principles.
- Facilitate their implementation.
- Develop a faculty toolkit for those individuals who are interested in revising their course(s).
Faculty Professional Development
Chairs: Davida Smyth and Heather Rissler
- Facilitate adoption of Vision and Change principles in General Education Biology courses by providing professional development and mentoring for instructors teaching these courses.
- Establishment of a national IGELS network.
Equity and Inclusion
Chairs: Bryan Dewbury and Kristin Jenkins
- Improve equity and inclusive teaching and learning.
- Promote interest, relevance, and self-efficacy in students.
Outcomes & Assessment
Chair: Karla Fuller
- Identify universal program and course outcomes appropriate for general education students.
- Promote outcome implementation and institutionalization.
